Larry McCollum AKA VoltageMan.com

In the early eighties I became involved with installations of ceiling fans and whole house fans. I was known as the Fan Man and probably  installed over five thousand fans since. Being able to install where others said it could not be done was my specialty . It was during these times I became very good at balancing and bracing. I started repairing switches and capacitors in the fans and replacing motors, bearings, and flywheels. Soon I was introduced to Casablanca fans and learned how to repair them, trouble shoot problems and service them. Then came Emerson, Hunter, Regency and the list goes on and on.

In the late eighties and early nineties  I started installing wood stove inserts and free standing as well as pellet stoves and gas stove inserts and free standing. During installation sometimes the stoves needed repairs to make them work so I then started learning about the different models, brands and various problems I had encountered. There are about twenty five different brands sold in the valley and I have probably worked on everyone of them.

Portable Spas came next through service seminars and hands on experience I became very knowledgeable on the different models. Then came running electricity to the spas be it 115 volts or 230 volts. Gas lines for inserts, BBQ's and numerous other duties involved with said products. New construction, remodel or commercial I've been very active with the installation of the above for mentioned products

Lately lighting and wiring has been in the most requested along with the ceiling fans. Chandeliers, recess lights, outdoor, security and lampposts. A lot of high ceilings, and vaulted ceilings come my way because I have the equipment to do the jobs.

I started VoltageMan.com a couple of years  ago to give the valley a service man that has the experience to do the job right the first time and not overcharge for incompetent service. I know from experience that when you call a company for repair you end up with someone not that experienced and usually new to their job. That's why I do all the jobs myself and when you call I'm the one you speak to. I carry a C10 electrical contractors license and a D34 prefabricated equipment installation license along with the necessary bonds and insurance.

I have also been selected by Casablanca to be an authorized Casablanca Service Center for the valley. I can also get parts for almost any fan or gas or pellet stove. Breckwell, Austroflam, Enviro, Whitfield, Country, Regency, and many others.
